I call, "Do over!"

Yep, I called it! I now expect to fully fall back asleep and wake up to last Monday. Yes, I plan to do over this last week.

Life wise it was awesome! We had a friend over from our small group and enjoyed Bible study starting up and a praise and worship night on Sunday, but homeschool wise... yea... DO OVER!!!

This week started off with the best of intentions. This week though ended up being a huge struggle with my Kindergartener who had lots of tears and whines everyday. Thursday I took a mom mental break day and did nothing but digital scrapbooking to catch up for our venture into Project Life this year (I'll explain my approach later). Cover page and 2 weeks down. 2 more weeks to be caught up to present day. I shouldn't have been surprised that this week, school wise, would be in the toilet after how great last week was, but ugh... this week stunk!

"Momma, said there would be days like this. Days like this my momma said...."

That seemed to be my anthem all week. I am sooooo glad that today is Saturday and Monday will be fresh and new again soon. Praying about how to re-approach Monday, and Tuesday, and Wednesday, and well you know what I mean. Must make a better schedule for everyone. I did rearrange our school room. That totally counts as productive, no? *wink*

Last night my husband rocked and brought home the book Desperate. I am 5 pages in and already feel tears on the cuff of my eyelids. This book is going to be perfect for my soul and my season. Hope is on the horizon!!! Thank you, Jesus!!

So here I am saying this week in homeschooling... not a success... at all! Hope for next week... blooming! I'm going to go enjoy another cup of coffee and listen to my kiddos and husband play legos in the other room. Sitting in the presence of God to renew and lead out of this week that so badly needs a redo and walking faithfully into next. Praying it brings better results.
