So.Much.Going.On

I feel so bad...

I have been scoopin' out all the beautiful homeschool rooms shared over at Heart of the Matter today, and I haven't even taken photos or posted mine. Our little corner I should say. I should do that soon. I really should! There are honestly some fantastic rooms out there.  

I want to go to school in them.

It makes me long for a house of our own and more space than our tiny apartment more. Oh well... Must blossom where we are at and dealing with a less than inspiring space is what we must do.

I feel so utterly behind this year in getting ready it isn't even funny. Partly because money is super tight and we haven't even been able to buy new school supplies. That always helps cheer things up and make everything more exciting for a new year. Hopefully in two weeks we can do that. I originally wanted to start school next week, but it isn't looking like we will. It all depends when the wonderful UPS man comes with the last of our books. Yep late in ordering the rest this year as well.

Anyways... lol

I think the other reason for the slow moving prep work this year is because I have to take a Cert class to be legally able to independently homeschool in my state (this will be our first year homeschooling on our own w/o going through our states virtual academy... Not have the cert and $$ has been the reason. It was nice to be able use this option though while we had to. It gave us the chance to still teach at home and teacher what we wanted.). That being said this class isn't until this weekend. It's only one full day and 2 nights, but I think once the class is done I will feel so much better. Not better in the sense of I will feel confident to do it... just better as in ready. Ready because the last piece will be finalized and we will be ready to go. I am looking forward to this class very much. Saturday can not get here soon enough.

Nap time appears to be over. I hear my littlest guy in the other room. Must get off the computer now. Hopefully more lesson planning and arranging will take place this afternoon.
