Being Real...

Can I say, one, Instagram has totally taken over my blogging time, and two... Life has been REAL lately.

A couple weeks ago the five minute Friday theme was real. I had all intentions of sitting down to write but real life got in the way and I never got a chance to come back to it. Real time to sit down at the desktop almost needs to be planned out and that slot of time set aside or it never seems to happen.

Stitches have happened.

A fat lip has happened.

Co-Op days and stressful, let's finish the school year, days have happened.

Full days/weekends at the ball fields have happened.

Hundreds of baseball pictures to upload to share sites for teams has happened.

Doctor appointments have happened.

Dentist appointments have happened.

Crashing in bed at night surprised we've made it through another day has happened.

Prayers of what futures look like and paths God wants for us has happened.

Steps to "living like no one else later" have happened.

Thoughts and prayers over relationships in our lives have happened.

Prayers for direction for our children's homeschooling as our oldest is middle school now has happened.

A birthday and a college visit trip has happened.

Piles of laundry and dishes have sat and been put away have happened.

Yard work and housework has happened.

Tears and laughter have happened.

Day trips and BBQ play in the backyard has happened.

Life has been real lately...

Real busy... Real fun... Real interesting as adulthood and parenthood continue to grow each day.

It sure is a real nice place God has been working on us in.

And I sure hope to be back... real soon. ;)
