My Crazy Busy Life

So Easter weekend rocked!!

Enjoyed an early Easter Service on Saturday and then served at the following service. Amazing amount of people on our church campus this weekend. Only God!! Hung out with friends and watched a movie (Wreck It Ralph) afterwards, then went back to church to serve our normal service on Sunday. We then attempted to go grocery shopping but Costco was closed. Honestly it never even dawned on me that they would be closed. So we came home and spent our normal 3 hours there then off to our small group potluck dinner. Such a great weekend of fellowship!!

Monday we had our normal early-morning-so-we-can-have-the-car-to-be-at-church-on-time routine. Thankfully some school got accomplished but not much because we now had to add a trip to Costco into the mix.

Gotta love having one vehicle.

Yesterday was a glorious day at home filled with a way later start then I wanted but letting the kids sleep (since the weekend consisted of hardly any) seemed more important, then my precious doggie decided to try his hand at getting my attention. Apparently he hadn't seen my to-do list and must have thought "Well, mom doesn't have enough to do."

Yes, that would be the foam for my AC unit. Lovely, no?

Ooo and this little guy? The other side of here... my front yard. He hasn't done anything like this in the month we have had him. Until yesterday.

Oh puppy life. He is a year old.

My problem... Why does he have to be so cute!?

Man, there is never a dull moment.

This weekend our small group is meeting at our house and can I just say IT'S WEDNESDAY and I have got NOTHING cleaned yet!? Insert the inner scream taking place. I know it'll get done. It always does but I don't have that many days. Especially since Saturday I am helping and walking at a friend's 5K event. It'll be an all day thing since the race is in the morning and then a play date is scheduled for afterwards. The day will be fantastic I just have tons to get done here. Brown paper bag breathing commence now... and break!

In other fine news school seems to be going pretty good lately. We are at least getting somewhere. I spent part of yesterday gathering prices and curriculum names we want to look at while at our convention next month. Hopefully we will be able to pick them up at the same time. I also was put into contact with another homeschooling momma at church this weekend who is going to get me in the know on co-ops around us, as well as the church homeschool group email list for play dates and all those goodies! I'm stoked! It's been a long lonely year. I have some other groups I am looking into as well I think would be great for the kids. I am getting really excited for next year. Can't believe I am going to have a 5th grader, 1st grader, and a Preschooler. It's going to be a fun year!

Not much else going on just the normal massive laundry pile, mixed in with some dust bunnies, and the dirty dish or misplaced shoe going on here.

Gotta love life!
