Good Friday

Another week down with good points and low points. Today though is all about Jesus and the beauty of GREAT points he has given us because of today. A lowly sinner like me... he took all that pain and shame... because he loves... me. Such a huge wonderful thought to try and wrap my head around. Of course the why's pop up but it's simple.

Pure love and desire to be with me.

For eternity.

It doesn't get much better than that!

Yesterday morning the kids and I read about Jesus' Crucifixion and Ressurection. We made cross art and our own tombs while watching God Rocks! Rez the Rock that Rolled.

The kids loved the cross art. They colored their sin over the tape and when we reached Jesus' Resurrection we took the tape off to show our sin washed clean. Oh their smiles. I'll never forget that moment.

Thank you Jesus for washing us clean!!

I of course had so much more planned to do for Easter and don't feel I did a great job but that is the beauty of today. It's not at all about what I did or didn't get accomplished with my kids about Easter, all that matters is that they know the true meaning of the love Today and the next 3 days stand for. That in all we do is pointed in praise and thanks to Jesus.

He paid it all!!!!
