Okay... so it's been a long time since I took part of Kate's Five Minute Friday... Feels good to write for an unedited amount of time again! Today's prompt was great too...
And here we....

When you think of the word TIME what comes to mind?
I read that today and thought of my Scripture and a Snapshot verse of "Teach me to number my days." Time is certainly short for sure. You never know what tomorrow may hold.
Then I ventured to think of time and the fact my kids are still asleep due to staying up for the whole GOP Debate last night and Friday is a slower homeschool day so I am letting them sleep in.
Next was to my ever growing to-do list. How I wish I had more TIME in my day to get it all done for everyone.
Then God said... "it's not about all of that but your focus on me and my desire for you to use the TIME each day that I have given you. Slow down, put your color pen down, and ask me how I want to fill the seconds of your day. Maybe I want your to-do list to look different. "
So, I challenge you today to stop and ask God how HE desires your TIME to be spent. Don't worry about going and making that to-do list and planner pretty with all of YOUR desires for your seconds... God wants to use our time differently. Let's ask him today how our TIME should be spent!
_____ and STOP ______
What comes to mind when you think of TIME? I'd love to know. Please share.

Stopping by from FMF. I loved this post. I've felt really challenged recently, particularly over how I allow social media to swallow up minutes and sometimes hours of my day! I would love to be more disciplined and intentional about how I spend my free time.
A good challenge! I spend so much time thinking about how I think my time should be spent or about all the things I have to do. Yet how God wants to use my time needs to be the most important things up there.
