Five Minute Friday: Change

I have seen #FiveMinuteFriday all over Twitter each week and have always wanted to read the posts. For whatever reason I hadn't. Until this morning. I love the rawness of this weekly meme. There is beauty in a five minute raw drive with you, the keys, and your heart. I love it.

So here I am diving in for my first time... This week's word... CHANGE

Ready... Set...

Change...

Go...

Oh that word that seems to follow me everywhere I go anymore. 

In 3 months that Change will be a year old. This time last year I never would've thought we would be where we are, and as I sit here thinking about even more change on the horizon I still can't imagine where God is taking us in this next season he seems to be preparing our hearts for. 

It's scary and awesome and while we have no idea of the details that I think is the beauty of change. 

If I was driving I would know what the change holds and in theory it wouldn't be much change because I would know what is coming and could prepare. I heard a saying in these last months that "with God it's a wild ride." 

It's a wild ride because we aren't the drivers and can't see where we are going. I love love love that part. 

I want the wild ride. 

I want whatever change God is bringing into our lives and so thankful for the ups and downs of the current change we have been living in. He is faithful in that change. There is growth in that change and freedom too of letting go of the wheel and letting God drive. The wild ride of change and blind passenger seating can really be the thrill and closeness I feel God really wants for me. I am ready. 

Change, whatever you are bringing I can't wait to see and to see the beauty of God's glory you are amping up to reveal to my soul.
