Sweet Shot Tuesday

Oh I almost completely spaced today was Tuesday! This weekend my husband had 3 days off only to come back to work 2 overnight shifts. To say I am a little off today would be an understatement.

This weekend we spent time at my dad's house. Helping with yard work and taking parts off of his old parts car for his "new" car he is restoring.

A '69 Firebird Convertible.

Oh yes it's totally awesome!!!

Inside his parts car though seemed to be a village of Yellow Jackets. Yes a village. Dad has cleared out most of them but I found a little guy and his lone nest residing on the ceiling of the car. I caught him "giving me the eye" and since he wasn't angrily buzzing around my head while I sat there I decided to snap a shot of this lone renegade taking up residence in the shade of the ceiling of my dad's parts car.

I totally recommending clicking on this little guy to see him bigger.

He is worth it.

It's ok I'll wait.

See. Isn't he cute!? *wink*

He never did leave his perch here even as we were banging around trying to get the gas tank off. He just sat there like he didn't have a care in the world. I liked him.

Strictly because he wasn't bothering me nor I him.

Awwww thanks Marissa :) I watched him for a long while before grabbing the camera. I was worried at first he'd get mad but he didn't budge so I was hoping it was safe to get close. :)
