Couples Who Pray {Review}

When I saw this title I instantly called my husband and told him all about it. We both were looking for ways to deepen our prayer life together and were really excited about the book. I have to be honest I didn't read much about it before we got it because I wanted to check it out firsthand. Sadly though I have to say we could not get into this book. All the people used to interview for this book are all people outside of my age group, a celebrity, or a professional that we are not.

While some of the techniques and such are practical for anyone I found it very difficult to relate to. In turn it made it a very hard book to even want to read it. I'll be honest again I even left the book for weeks thinking if I came back with a different frame of mind it would be easier to read. This was not the case. While I know everyones lives are different not one person was relatable for me... for us. We have not finished reading this book and truthfully I am not sure we will try.

Sadly it was not what I expected.
