You will be amazed

The school morning bell will ring soon.

OK, figuratively speaking of course.

I have had a giant case of lack of faith in this season on how this homeschool year will take place for us. The normal "funds are low" talk... the adjusting curriculum...etc. While I have been questioning, doubting, and playing worst case scenarios out in my head God has been speaking to my husband on how this upcoming school year was going to happen. All my husband has kept telling me up to this point is he keeps hearing "You will be amazed." My type A personality kept asking.. HOW?! Of course he would snicker and say, "I don't know only God does, All he has told me is you will be amazed."

As grateful has I was to hear that my head wanted to see a nice neatly written out outline of how we were going to get from zero to "you will be amazed." I am so stinking excited I am not God and that my thoughts are not his.

Talk about slapped with a massive "oh ye of little faith" 2x4. I have had just that happen to me this weekend. Even though I have adjusted our curriculum, God only knows how many times, we are all set for the 2012/2013 school year... In July. While that might not seem much it's huge for us. That has never happened before in all 4 past years of homeschooling, and for way less dollar wise then I had anticipated for 2 full time students, and the final curriculum God has laid out feels soooo good. Better than all we first thought we wanted to do.

4th grade and Kindergarten (and a toddler) here we come!

God has also laid on our hearts to start year round homeschooling this year and to say we are all excited is an understatement. Our official hard start date is only in a short 3 weeks from today. July 30th. I have 2 more sites to order from and I'm praying they will arrive just in time. Other than that we have all the rest of our curriculum ready to go.

I am so blown away at the mighty hand of God. It is so far from my plan and I love it. The peace and excitement on all he has unveiled and set up for us is tremendous.

"You will be amazed"...

He wasn't kidding.

As you may can tell, I'm catching up on your posts that I have missed reading while I was off in Alaska and on the road to returning to the Eastern time zone...
One of my favorite songs is "Amazed" by Phillips, Craig and Dean. I am indeed amazed by our great God over and over again. He is God and He is good!
