For those that tackle the 365 project my hat is off to you! How do you do it!? This year I really wanted to take a picture everyday. 2nd day in and I totally failed. Not one photo taken. What else is sad is that I only have 2 children in one picture on the first, and none of them at all yesterday.
I have got to figure out how to capture the ordinary daily lives of us but of each child. I really really really want to do this!! I feel like I have failed though already 3 full days gone and not a single picture of one child or my husband. I was reading Steph over at Adventures in Babywearing this morning and last April she decided she was going to take/post a photo of all of her children together one day a month. The same day every month. I {love} this idea sooooo very much!! I want to do something like that too. I have thought how awesome would it be to a.) see the growth of my babes each month, but also b.) to have a 12 picture collage at the end of a photo book for the grandparents of all the children from throughout the year!? Sounds cool huh?
So thankfully everyday is a new day and even though I have nothing of all my kids in pictures so far I hope to capture them today in their dailyness {is that a word? ha it is now} I however really want to pick a day to take their picture on every month. Today? Tomorrow? I don't know it's still in the thought process. I just really want to do it.
I want to get better with my camera. I want to see things in a different angle. I want to learn and experiment more. Most importantly I want to capture the realness of my children. Them... Their hearts... Their smiles... Their personalities... Their lives.
Just one of the many things I want to tackle anew with the fresh start of a new month and new year.

I really wanted to begin a 365 photo project this year, but I am afraid to commit myself in fear of failing. It's a huge undertaking (or at least for me!) Good luck, your photo-a-month sounds like a great idea!
I have tried that challenge too and i just forge some days and take too many others.
Have fun with the photos you do take.
