SNOW DAY!

Today was beautiful.

Beautifully COLD! Yesterday we saw the first snow flakes of the year. Today the flakes were sticking.

All day long.

The kids had a blast! Daddy had to go to work and we got to watch all the slipping sliding drivers that were struggling getting up our hill. Every year without fail people get stuck, slide like crazy, and always end up turning around or staying put over night. 

So the kids and I took 

A SNOW DAY! 

After some holiday movies...

Some play in the snow...

We made Sugar Cookies and hung out. 

It was a blissful day! 

Absolutely no school got accomplished today and to be honest I don't mind one bit. Although there may be a time later on where I totally freak out because we are a little behind. It was a day that was so fun though. I will have to come back and reread this to remember it is ok! I also realized though we need some new winter gear for the little guys as we don't have any for them. It didn't snow on our level last year. Must add that to our to get list.
