It's not always peaches & cream

It's supposed to be a rainy dreary kind of day here today. However as much as I would love to sit and read under a cozy blanket. I can't. *insert pout. It's ok I am*

The noise level for one would be too hard to drowned out to enjoy a nice book. The level of laundry that has slowly taken over my whole house is another reason. Oh the kitchen... 'nuff said. Schoolwork that needs to get done and the cleaning. So much to do before the kids and I leave next week for 2 weeks to take care of my dad*.

*He is having foot surgery and we are the only ones who can help take care of him. Drive him around. Take care of his doggies and so forth. So a min. of 2 weeks the kids and I will be hanging out with grandpa! Hubby has to work *big sad face!!*

Seriously whoever thought being a stay at home mom who homeschools meant you have a completely tidy house all the time must either a.) have grown kids or b.) must have grown kids and a nanny. lol

Because seriously there are days I think I have less time to do things then if I worked full time and then came home to the whole family.

Oh a mom's work is never done.
